Think about your goals.
Dream about them.
Write them down.
Obsess over them.
Make choices based only on whether or not they will help you reach your goal.
Be willing to tell friends and family no. Turn down trips to concerts and bars and ballparks and ice cream parlors.
Become so focused that you know, deep down, your goal will be achieved no matter what obstacles stand in your way.
And then maybe, just maybe, you will succeed.

It's that time of year, where phone calls go unanswered. Texts don't get responses. Emails sit unopened. It's that time of year where my mind is focused, and every minute is consumed with thoughts of training, eating, recovering.

It's Regional season, and it's my favorite time of year.
Step up, or step aside, because if you're in my way, I will run you over on my way to the 2017 CrossFit Games Central Regional Podium.
This is the time of year where months of frustration, months of failed lifts, months of struggle, suddenly pay off in a big, big way. This is the time of year where all of the work that was done in silence, behind closed doors, finally gets to be shown to the world. It's a time to show off skills, strength, and mental fortitude. It is time to shine.

The lights will come on, the floor will be set, and on 3-2-1-Go! I promise I will put on a show for you. Because the hours have all been put in, the work has all been done, and now it's finally time to have fun.
